we went to a fine art store and acquired a very realistic portrait of Ataturk to hang on our wall. it is seen here. also, we started with a glass door that allows light into the room from the hallway. how stupid right? but now it is half wood! (sort of like Ataturk(sorry parents, had to be said)).

these ruins are some sort of wall i found when i had a long journey to the central package center of Istanbul to pick up my post from home. worth the journey, it was fun. it was a really nice day, with some great views like this last one from the ferry.
