ı am back from my week long vacatıon. we went to ankara and to cappadocia, then to side and the sea and to the dead sea. we also went to see Rumi's tomb in Konya but the whirling dervishes were not performing again that night so we missed out. when i came back to campus i had to wait five hours in line to get into the new men's dorm building which does not have internet yet, but when it does i will post many pictures form the last week. classes started today but no one showed up to mine so oh well, i guess i have the day off. i also did not sign up for any classes on thursday or friday so i guess every weekend in a four day weekend. we also have another week off once Ramadan is over. and i think we are going to egypt sometime in october. i am gone so much it does not seem worth it to find my own apartment, and the caffeteria food on campus is decent and pretty cheap. there is no alcohol allowed on campus but i snuck some cappadocian wine into my dorm room (dont tell the authorities). if any one wants me to post stories or description of pictures send me an email at Louis.herman@gmail.com and i will do as such.
